Christmas Workshops - クリスマス教室のご案内

クリスマスデコレーションがロンドンを埋め尽くす季節がやってきました。花市場にも、クリスマスを意識させるような花材が並び始めました。もちろん、クリスマスツリーなどにぴったりの飾りも沢山並んでいます。こうなると、やっぱり気分も盛り上がってきます。

今年も昨年同様、クリスマスリースやキャンドルアレンジメントの制作を体験できる教室を開催させていただきます。これまで作ってみたかったけど、なかなか機会がなかった方には是非参加していただきたい教室です。自分で作る自分のためだけのクリスマスリースやキャンドルアレンジです。

リースの作り方（飾りだけではなく、実際リースを作っていただきます）

London is becoming a feast of Christmas decoration. New Covent Garden Market is filled with beautiful decorations and flowers, too.

So, it is OUR turn to create this festive atmosphere: Christmas Wreath and Candle Arrangement Special Workshops! Have you been thinking of making your own decorations, but did not have chance to do it? Now, it is the time! You can create your own style and colour scheme. Of course, you will be able to make another one after the workshop for your friends and family, perhaps as a gift?

X'mas Candle−キャンドルアレンジ教室から

昨年のクリスマスキャンドルアレンジ教室からご紹介します。
こちらは彩子さんの作られた大きなアレンジです。This is Saiko's special long arrangement.





恵美子さんは、キャンドルホルダーをかえ２種類のアレンジを作っていただきました。Emiko has made 2 different arrangements.

Digital Camera Workshop - デジタルカメラ一日教室

カメラは持っていても、その使い方に今一自身のないあなた。デジタルカメラの機能を使いこなして、更にきれいな写真をとれるようになりませんか？

日本でプロとして活躍している写真家ジュンコさんが、ハムステッドでデジタルカメラの使い方一日教室を開催します。もちろん、普段持っている疑問にも答えていただけます。

日時：4月7日（月曜日）　朝の１０時３０分から

参加費：一人１０ポンド

せっかく作ったアレンジを、美しいまま写真に残しておきたいときのテクニックやヒントが満載です。

Hampstead Christ Church. The tutor is Junko, who is a professional
photographer from Japan. She will tell and show you how to facilitate your
digital camera, and enable you to get MORE out of your camera.

The fee is £10.00, and the seat is limited, so if you would like to take

From the previous Workshop - ワークショップからの作品，

先日のワークショップからの作品をご紹介させていただきます。やわらかな薫りを放つラベンダーとローズマリーを使ったフレームウェディングブーケの作製でした。ひっそりと咲いているのは，根っこを張っている小さな胡蝶蘭です。
I would like to share the beauty of the Wedding Bouquets made during the Workshop with you. Softly scented Lavandula angustifolia and fresh Rosmarinus officinalis are the ingredients of this frame work. Can you see this gorgeous small flowers in the frame? It is a rooted Phalaenopsis orchid.

まずは晃子さんの作品です。透明感の溢れる作品に仕上がりました。ロンドンの透明な光をしっかりとうけていますね。
This is from Akiko. It has such a transparent quality. The clear London light is traveling through her bouquet, and showing it beauty.








こちらは千春さんの作品です。植物の持つ力強さが表れていませんか？カラーの持つラインが印象的ですね。
This work is from Chiharu. There is a strong sense of affirmation in this design. It is Chiharu's ability to translate the power of material into a visible form.

From the July Workshop - ワークショップからの作品

先月のワークショップでは、吸水性フォームを使用しないアレンジメントの作製でした。花の情報をみんなで交換し合い、製作中にも話は盛り上がりましたが、作品を作るまなざしは変わらず真剣。もちろん作業の手が止まる事はありませんでした。
The theme for Workshop in July was "without any use of water retaining foam." We all exchanged techniques and information on flowers, so, naturally, we had some good chat during the workshop, although everyone was so concentrating on their own designs! In fact, they never stopped developing their idea and designs.


こちらはよしこさんの作品です。繊細さがありながらも，何か安定した風格のある作品に仕上がっていますね。
This is from Yoshiko. The design has such a delicate quality within, yet it shows boldness and stability through the material she chose.



裕季子さんの作品は、植物の持つ、『立ち上がる』表情をしっかりとらえています。
Yukiko's design is capturing the expression of materials 'being growing up' very well here. You can see them so alive!



晃子さんは、お皿の大きさにとらわれる事なく左右へと花をあしらい、アレンジに広がり感を持たせています。
Akiko made her arrangement without being restricted by the size of her own dish. The materials are swinging from side to side, so you can visualise the landscape beyond its outline.



こちらは美穂さんの作品です。細かな蕾も丁寧に使われて、まるで庭の一部を切り取ったかのような、雰囲気のある作品に仕上がりました。
This is Miho's work. With some small buds, she has created a very natural design here. It looks as if it was cut off from a beautiful summer garden.

Friday Workshop 27th July - ７月２７日金曜日のワークショップ

７月２７日のワークショップでは、吸水性フォームを使用しないアレンジメントを、皆さんがいつもお使いのお皿の上に制作します。デザインアイデアはお伝えしますが、基本的には形は自由。あなたらしい形を是非作り出してください。今回は，夏らしい風が吹き抜けるような，見た目にも涼しい作品になる予定です。創作意欲を刺激した作品を作っていきましょう。

必要なものはハサミといつもお使いのお皿、そして作品をお持ち帰り頂く袋だけです。お皿は、少し水がたまるようなものが良いです。大きさは自由です。適当なものがなければ，是非事前におっしゃってください。こちらで別途ご準備させていただきます。必要であればエプロンやランチもお持ちください。
見学ももちろん大歓迎です。是非ご連絡ください。

From a Wedding Workshop − ウェディング・ワークショップより

春のウェディング・ワークショップでは、枝を用いてのブーケ作りを取り上げました。このワークショップからの作品をいくつかご紹介します。吸水性フォーム等は一切使用せず、ナチュラルステムで束ねられています。
On our Spring Workshop, we created some Wedding Bouquets with twigs. Here are some gorgeous designs from this Workshop. There was no water retaining foam in these designs: they have been tied with natural stems!


まずはよしこさんの作品。中に手を通す、マフ・ブーケです。洗練された、その美しく静かな質感に目を奪われてしまいます。
Yoshiko's work is a Muff-style bouquet. How sophisticated! What a dazzling yet quiet texture!




こちらのクレッセント・ブーケは、裕季子さんの作品です。ナチュラルながら、エレガントなスタイルです。
This Crescent Bouquet is created by Yukiko. It has natural, yet very elegant style.







朋子さんは、カラーの流れを活かしたシャワー・ブーケを作製。甘さのない、大人の方にぴったりの作品ですね。
Tomoko has created this Shower style Bouquet, showing off the beauty of Zantedeschia. Nothing girlie here. This is for someone who knows own style.

The Workshop in June, Theme is "Wedding Bouquet" - ６月のワークショップは ”ウェディング・ブーケ”

６月のワークショップでは、ジューン・ブライドにちなんでウェディング・ブーケの作製を行ないたいと思います。いつものように吸水性フォームを使用しない、ナチュラルステムのブーケです。フレームを作り，夏の風が通るような軽やかなブーケを作ってみましょう。デザインアイデアはお伝えしますが、基本的には形は自由。あなたらしい形を是非作り出してください。今回も，しっかり編み込む作業が入っています。あなたも一緒に、創作意欲を刺激した作品を作っていきませんか？

必要なものはハサミ、そして作品をお持ち帰り頂く袋だけです。必要であればエプロンやランチもお持ちください。
見学ももちろん大歓迎です。お気軽に是非ご連絡ください。

From the previous Workshop - ワークショップからの作品

以前のワークショップから、よしこさんの作品をお届けします。最初の作品は，チューリップの茎の流れを活かした春らしい作品です。Here are some designs created by Yoshiko at The Workshop. The first design is a very elegant Spring arrangement. Yoshiko really looked into the shape of Tulips in this arrangement.

この日よしこさんは、２作品を作り出してくださいました。こちらは、スノードロップをあしらった冬の静けさが伝わってくる作品ですね。
On this woorkshop, Yoshiko has created 2 designs on one day. this is her second design. With pretty Snowdrops (Galanthus elwesii), it is a very quet Winter landscape.
